Duolog is real-time, two-way meeting translation for your Mac. You speak Chinese and the other person reads English; they speak English and you instantly see Chinese. Supported pairs: Chinese ↔ English, Chinese ↔ Japanese, English ↔ Japanese.
Duolog 是 Mac 上的即時雙向會議翻譯。你說中文、對方看英文；對方說英文、你即時看中文。支援中↔英、中↔日、英↔日。
Q: Do I need an account or sign-in? | 需要註冊或登入嗎？
No. Just open Duolog and press Start. Every day includes 10 free minutes of translation. Signing into Google Drive is optional (only for syncing meeting notes to your own Drive).

Q: Does it need internet? | 需要網路嗎？
Speech recognition runs on-device (your audio stays on your Mac). Translation of the recognized text uses an online service (a free path, or your own Gemini / DeepL key), so an internet connection is needed for translation.
語音辨識在本機執行（音訊留在你的 Mac）。辨識後的文字翻譯使用線上服務（免費路徑或你自備的 Gemini / DeepL 金鑰），翻譯需要連網。
Q: Why does the App Store version's accuracy differ? | 為何 App Store 版精度不同？
The App Store edition uses macOS’ built-in on-device speech recognition for full sandbox compatibility. Accuracy varies by language and accent; proper nouns and punctuation may be weaker. Recommended: an Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 13 or later, 8 GB RAM or more, for the best real-time experience.
App Store 版採用 macOS 內建的本機語音辨識以完整相容沙盒。辨識精度因語言與口音而異，專有名詞與標點可能較弱。建議配置：Apple Silicon Mac、macOS 13 以上、記憶體 8 GB 以上。
Q: What permissions does Duolog request, and why? | Duolog 需要哪些權限？
Microphone — captures your own voice for on-device speech recognition. Screen & System Audio Recording — used only to capture the other party’s meeting audio for translation; Duolog does not capture, store, or transmit your screen contents.
麥克風—擷取你自己的聲音做本機語音辨識。螢幕與系統錄製—僅用於擷取對方的會議語音做翻譯；Duolog 不截取、不儲存、不傳送你的畫面內容。
Q: How do subscriptions and “Restore Purchases” work? | 訂閱與「回復購買」怎麼用？
The free tier gives 10 minutes per day. Unlimited is available via an auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscription, managed by the App Store. If you reinstall or use another Mac, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Manage or cancel anytime in System Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
