MeowLinguistics (貓語研究所) — Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms | 條款接受

By installing or using MeowLinguistics ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

下載、安裝或使用 MeowLinguistics（「本應用程式」）即表示您同意受本使用條款約束。如果您不同意，請勿使用本應用程式。

2. What the App Does | 應用程式功能

MeowLinguistics provides research-based interpretations of cat language based on academic models (Moelk 1944, Schötz et al. 2019 Meowsic, Marvin Clark 1895). These are interpretations, not literal translations. Every cat is different; results are best-effort and indicative, not authoritative.

MeowLinguistics 根據學術模型（Moelk 1944、Schötz 等 2019 Meowsic、Marvin Clark 1895）提供學術依據的貓語詮釋。這些是詮釋，不是字面翻譯。每隻貓都不同，結果為盡力推論的指引性內容，並非權威性結論。

3. Free Version (Phase 1) | 免費版本（第一階段）

The current version is free, with no in-app purchases. Future versions may add a Premium subscription tier; you will be prompted before any paid feature is enabled.

目前版本完全免費，無任何應用程式內購買。未來版本可能加入 Premium 訂閱方案，啟用任何付費功能前我們都會明確提示您。

4. Academic Citations | 學術引用

All citations link to original academic papers. We do NOT claim ownership of those works. Authors and publishers retain their rights. Where applicable:

• Moelk (1944) — published in The American Journal of Psychology, hosted on JSTOR.
• Schötz et al. (2019) — Meowsic project, Lund University, Zenodo CC license.
• Clark (1895) — public domain (over 130 years old).

所有引用均連結至原始學術論文。我們不主張對該等著作的所有權，作者與出版者保留各自權利。

5. Limitation of Liability | 責任限制

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Do not rely on its outputs for medical, behavioral, or veterinary decisions about your pet. If your cat shows distress, consult a licensed veterinarian. The developer is not liable for any damages arising from app use.

本應用程式以「現狀」提供，不附帶任何保證。請勿依本應用之輸出做出對您寵物的醫療、行為或獸醫相關決定。如貓咪有異常表現，請諮詢合格獸醫。開發者不對因使用本應用所生的任何損害負責。

6. Acceptable Use | 可接受使用

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer the binary or extract third-party copyrighted material.
• Distribute modified versions of the App.
• Use the App in any context that would harm an animal.

您同意不得：對本應用之執行檔進行逆向工程或抽取第三方著作權內容；散佈本應用之修改版本；以任何可能傷害動物的方式使用本應用。

7. Changes to Terms | 條款變更

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced in-app and reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

我們可能不定期更新本使用條款。實質變更會於應用程式內提示，並於本頁更新「最後更新」日期。

8. Governing Law | 管轄法律

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.).

本條款依中華民國（台灣）法律管轄。
